Extra Virgin Olive Oil & Pecorino

Our trip throught the rolling hills of Val d'Orcia discovering its amazing landscapes and excellent products grown since ever in these rich lands and handed down from father to son, following restrictive rules and guaranteed by the DOP appellation.
With its green-yellow-gold colour and nutritional and salutary properties, extra virgin olive oil is part of our everyday life and Tuscany is today one of the leader producers. Among the many different types we grow frantoio, leccino, moraiolo, each one giving a different taste from spicy to sweet. We will enjoy a walk through the olive groves and taste some different kinds.
Local sheep cheese ( Pecorino) and goat cheese ( Caprino) have always been considered particular delicacies. In fact the animals also graze in woods and in fallow and their milk is fat and rich in proteines. Learn about the history and processes to make such an incredible cheese and enjoy the tasting of some different kinds.

Don't miss this incredible day and the chance to meet some very famous people...you never know!!
